One of the biggest benefits of daycare is socialization, because kids have to learn how to share, solve problems and be team players. And at a well-run program with teachers who have a strong education background, kids learn to use their voices to solve conflicts.

Hi AnnoReaiily, I love what you are writing about daycare and I totally agree with it. I myself am a mother of three children and I always got a lot of support from my mother. My twins just turned 3 and our youngest ist 8 months old. With 3 children I have to start working part time again. I thought about maybe starting with not more than 20 hours per week. My mother can take care of the kids on two days but for the third day I thought about bringing my children to a crib and daycare. I'm just very insecure about my 8 months old girl. I'm not sure if I can leave her with strangers, for sure I already had a look at some cribs and the people there seem to be really nice but I feel very strange. Another thing is that I'm still breast feeding, so now I already started to bumping milk so I could get my treasure to get used to being bottle feed. Anyways this is also very exhausting. How did you deal once your children were not around you all the time? This feeling is really strange. Barra

Hey Barra, it is not easy to get back to work after having been home with your children for some years. I think it is really great that your mother is helping you and if I'm right your children would have to be in daycare just for one day - no? Choose your crib and daycare very well, get to know the people who are working there and also talk to other parents whose children are going there as well. I also understand why you want to go back to work, you might also think about starting with less hours per week so you and your children can get used to it! Working a 20hours week and being a mother of 3 children is going to be very exhausting, don't underestimate it! You might also think about use formula in addition to you breast milk. Once you start working again also just bumping milk is going to be very exhausting and you want to spend the time you are going to be home with you loved ones and not with bumping milk. I was in a similar situation like you are now and with bumping milk you lose a lot of quality time. We for example did use myorganicformula.com/collections/holle-organic-formula in addition to the breast feeding. It was a huge relief because also my husband and my sister could bottle feed my baby. One thing that is very positive about going back to work though is that you are finally talking to other grown ups again and you have some time for yourself This is not a bad thing I can tell you! Good luck with everything! Danaira
